Dr Ozan Amir is a highly-skilled, highly accomplished podiatric surgeon. He began his medical career by earning an undergraduate degree in podiatry from the Queensland University of Technology in 1994. Next, Dr Amir completed his Master of Podiatry from Curtin University in 2004. From there, he went on to obtain surgical training with the Australiasian College of Podiatric Surgeons.
Further clinical and surgical training in the United Kingdom and the United States brought Dr Amir even more specialized into podiatry. He completed his preceptorship within the orthopaedic department of the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, where he specialized in forefoot and diabetic high-risk foot surgery. In Atlanta, Georgia, Dr Amir broadened his experience in rearfoot reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Podiatry Institute.
Today, Dr Amir is a seasonal lecturer at the Central Queensland University School of Podiatry and is an active member of the NSW Podiatry community where he leads workshops and educational lectures. Dr Amir’s primary focus is his private practice, which he has led for over 18 years throughout Canberra and Sydney. With his top qualifications, Dr Amir consistently finds the greatest interest in forefoot reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
